Wimbledon School of English Makes a Difference in 2024

  Publisher : Bernice   20 January 2025 14:04

Wimbledon School of English has once again shown how a strong sense of community can create meaningful change. In 2024, the school raised an impressive £1,088 for its chosen charities, a testament to the generosity and dedication of its students and staff.

The funds raised were donated to four incredible organisations:

  •  The Thunder Foundation (@the_thunder_foundation), supporting education and well-being for vulnerable children in Kenya.
  •  Jeans for Genes UK (@jeans_for_genes), helping those affected by genetic disorders.
  •  DEC Disaster Emergency Committee (@disastersemergencycommittee), providing urgent relief in times of global crisis.
  •  Save the Children (@savechildrenuk), ensuring children around the world receive the support they need to thrive.

This outstanding achievement reflects the school’s commitment to fostering not only academic excellence but also a culture of empathy and social responsibility. The entire community came together throughout the year to support these vital causes, demonstrating that small actions can make a big impact.

For those inspired by their efforts, there’s still time to contribute. To learn more or donate, visit their charity page: Wimbledon School of English Charity.
