GBS Malta, part of Global Education (GEDU), is proud to announce the launch of the organisation’s BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Information Technology programme, accredited by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).

Director of Operations for GBS Malta, Europe, Allen Lofaro said enriching the courses offering is another huge step forward.

“This is another win for GBS Malta and comes just months after we launched our new state of the art campus here in St Julian’s,” said Mr Lofaro.

“The BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Information Technology programme is critical for students wanting to break into the digital sector which is developing at such pace globally.

“There is a huge demand from industry for a skilled workforce, and we offer the hands-on learning to ensure graduates are job-ready from day one.

“Malta is a thriving hub for technology, with a vibrant gaming, software development and cybersecurity scene.

“Courses like this mean graduates can tap into this ecosystem when they graduate. This also means many of our students may choose to stay in Malta after their studies, boosting local businesses and adding to the vibrancy of our great nation.

“It’s critical that higher education providers work hand-in-hand with sectors globally to ensure skills gaps are being addressed, leading to long-term economic growth and prosperity, and giving students return on their educational investment.”
