In yesterday's edition of the S&A Bulletin we spoke of the importance of having a solid Digital Marketing Campaign and we shared some tips that we feel are extremely important in making your marketing campaigns a success.
Have a strategy and follow through
Without one you would simply be firing aimlessly and you will not have the possibility to assess your campaign and see what has worked and what needs to be improved upon. Another important thing is that once you start your campaign, see it through until the end. It's only in this way that you will manage to completely understand what went wrong and what can be improved.
Consistency
This is one aspect that we speak of very often. Whenever you create campaigns make sure that you are consistent and that you you see the campaign through from start to finish. If you need to make changes to your schedule or to your campaign, announce it to your readers and followers. Keep them in the loop and communicate with them. Like that you ensure follower loyalty.
One taget per campaign
Having one target per campaign makes it easier to focus on the message that you need to communicate to your audience. It also compartmentalises your work, hence making follow ups and data interpretation and analysis much more efficient and effective.
Data, Insights and Monitoring every step of the way
Monitoring statistics gives you a very clear indication of how your campaign performed, how your audience has reacted to it, what they liked, where they clicked, and most importantly, what can be improved for the next time.
