ICEF Africa 2025: Connecting Global Educators with Africa’s Emerging Student Markets

  Publisher : Bernice   14 May 2025 07:01

ICEF Africa 2025 is set to take place from 25–27 June 2025 at the Kigali Convention Centre in Rwanda. This premier networking event brings together international education institutions, service providers, and ICEF-screened student recruitment agents from over 25 African countries. It offers a unique platform to engage with the continent’s dynamic and rapidly growing student mobility markets.

A Strategic Gateway to Africa’s Youthful Talent

Sub-Saharan Africa continues to experience a surge in outbound student mobility. Nigeria consistently ranks among the top ten countries globally for students studying abroad. Kenya boasts a youthful population, with 25% aged between 18 and 36. Countries such as Ghana, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Tanzania, and Rwanda are also witnessing increased interest in international education.

ICEF Africa 2025 aims to capitalise on this momentum by facilitating connections between global educators and African recruitment agents. Participants can schedule up to 38 one-to-one meetings, attend seminars and panel discussions, and engage in evening networking events.

A World-Class Venue in the Heart of Africa

The event will be hosted at the Kigali Convention Centre, renowned for its iconic architecture inspired by Rwandan culture. The dome-shaped auditorium, resembling a traditional hut from the King’s Palace, can accommodate 2,600 attendees. With 18 individual meeting rooms, first-class accommodation, and a variety of restaurants, the venue offers an ideal setting for formal and informal networking.

Participation and Registration

ICEF Africa 2025 is expected to attract over 140 agents and 170 providers from more than 40 countries. Registration fees start at €4,950 for educators, €5,600 for service providers, and are available upon application for agents.
