Some milestones are not just counted in years, but in the experiences and connections created overtime. Since 2005, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Milano has welcomed students from all the world with a passion of learning Italian and experiencing one of Italy’s most dynamic cities. As part of the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Group, with schools in Florence, Rome, Turin, and Viareggio, the Milan school is also proud to be recognised with the StudyTravel Star Award for five consecutive years as the Best Italian Language School in the world.

Today, the school celebrates this journey and the international community that has grown around it. To mark this important anniversary of 20 years, on 6 June the school opened its doors for a full day of celebration. The event brought together students, teachers, staff from all schools of the Group, alumni, host families, and international partners.

The day had was full of workshops focused on Italian cinema, fashion, marketing and communication, as well as innovative approaches to language teaching. The programme also included sustainability quiz led by Trattato Plant Based, part of the global Plant Based Treaty movement, which promotes the transition towards more sustainable food systems as a practical response to the climate crisis. 

Of course, no Italian celebration would be complete without moments of joy and togetherness. The day continued with music, a dance class, and a traditional Italian aperitivo.

Looking ahead, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci Milano continues to build on its strong foundation in a city known for innovation and creativity. As part of the Green Standard Schools (GSS) network, the school remains committed to sustainability, which was reflected in the anniversary event through eco-friendly choices.
