Summer in Oxford is a fascinating experience. The colleges, galleries and history of one of the world’s most famous Universities provide an inspiring and beautiful environment for students from all over the world. Oxford International Study Centre has organised summer programmes for many years, welcoming students of all ages from over thirty countries . Older students are sometimes taught in the University , as well as at OISC, which occupies a listed building in the very centre of Oxford, next to Christ Church, one of the largest Colleges of the University, and home to the Cathedral .

We offer  a range of programmes, including:

English Language and Culture:

Students are taught in international groups, unless closed-group teaching has been requested, and are grouped according to age and level of English. The programme consists of :

- 20 lessons a week

- Activities locally each weekday

- Weekend excursion (full day)

Additional tuition on a one to one basis eg for IELTS exams may be booked.

English Language, Culture and Academic Enrichment:

The programme consists of:

- 20 lessons a week of English Language

- 10 lessons a week of academic preparation, including for ALevel,IB, and (I)GCSE Students may choose one or two subjects per week.

- Activities locally each weekday

- Weekend excursion (full day)

Other programmes offered

These include:

- Specially designed programmes with a choice of over 30 subjects

- Oxford and Cambridge interview and test preparation (one to one)

- Boarding School entrance tests preparation (one to one)

- Programmes for teachers and other professional men and women.
