At Ikigai Camps, we aim to challenge what is expected from youth travel; our camps integrate language learning with cultural exchange, emotional growth, and meaningful volunteering, ensuring every moment becomes a learning experience.

We do all of this in 2-week camps, extended stay programs and bespoke group/school trips. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention… our camps take place in the incredible countries of Costa Rica 🇨🇷, Thailand 🇹🇭 and South Africa 🇿🇦.

But why are we called Ikigai Camps?! The ancient Japanese concept of Ikigai is all about finding something you’re good at, something you love, something the world needs and something you can get paid for. It's believed that everyone has their own Ikigai, and once you uncover it, you'll have a reason to jump out of bed every morning - it’s the secret to a long and happy life!

When we first discovered it, we became obsessed and set out to find our very own Ikigai… hence, Ikigai Camps was born (in the mountains of Nepal… but that’s a story for another time)!
