In a gesture of community support, IELS Malta has taken a step to contribute to a cause that goes beyond language education and dedicated its efforts to promote breast cancer awareness during the month of October. Taking inspiration from the global Pink October movement, the school pledged to donate 5 Euro from each of its bookings throughout the month to support Hospice Malta, a registered NGO, that offers its services free of charge to more than 1000 patients each year in Malta and Gozo.
As the month ended, we eagerly awaited the opportunity to present the donation to the hospice service. Today, Olga Stanichevskaia, our Head of Sales & Reservations, and Daniel Mangani, our Head of School, personally delivered the cheque and expressed their gratitude for Hospice Malta’s invaluable work and compassionate care.
