At Wimbledon School of English (WSE), learning doesn’t stop when classes end. Our Social Programme is an integral part of the WSE experience – offering students the chance to practise their English in real-life situations, make friends from around the world, and explore London and beyond. 

Each week, students can take part in a wide variety of activities – from museum visits, walking tours and theatre trips to sports sessions and international food evenings. It’s the perfect way to combine language learning with fun, culture and fitness.

One of the most popular activities is our friendly football match. Students, staff, and sometimes even teachers take to the pitch for a lively game filled with good humour, team spirit and a touch of friendly competition. It’s a fantastic way to unwind after class, improve communication skills in English, and experience the global language of football in action!
