AP Statistics began the year by exploring how data is collected. Specifically, our work is focused on how to sample well to ensure that our sample is representative of the population of interest. We practice sampling from an imaginary population of creatures called Jellyblubbers. Students learn to take a Simple Random Sample, stratified sample, cluster sample, and systematic sample, all utilizing a randomization process.
