With over 20 years of experience in the ELT industry, Ian Scerri plays a key role in driving growth and strengthening partnerships at BELS. As Head of Business Development, he leads the sales department, works closely with agents and partners, and ensures that BELS continues to offer an exceptional learning experience for international students.

Many in the industry may already know Ian—his career has spanned academic, operational, and leadership roles, including Director of Studies, School General Manager, Teacher Trainer, and Operations Manager. He has also been part of FELTOM’s executive board, contributed to the ELT Council and MATEFL, and in 2016, received the Inspiring ELT Professional Award for his contributions to the local industry.

Now leading sales at BELS, Ian combines his academic expertise and industry knowledge to support agents and students in choosing the right study experience. His goal is to ensure that BELS remains a trusted partner for language learning, offering:
