The inclusion of agencies from across different international markets demonstrates the importance of strong school and agent relationships in supporting students who choose the UK for their English language studies.
One of the highlights of this year's awards is the introduction of the ST Leading Star Association category.
The new ST Leading Star categories recognise agencies, service providers, schools and associations that have achieved ST Super Star status.
English UK became the first school association to be inducted into the ST Super Star Hall of Fame in 2013. The distinction is reserved for organisations that have won their category five times, the maximum number of times an individual ST Star Award can be won.
Today, more than 40 organisations, including six associations, have achieved ST Super Star status.
English UK's shortlisting in the new ST Leading Star Association category provides further recognition of its role in supporting accredited ELT providers, strengthening international partnerships and promoting the UK as a leading destination for English language learning.
The large number of finalists connected with English UK demonstrates the continued strength of the UK's English language teaching sector and the global network surrounding it.
From language schools and education groups to specialist service providers and international student recruitment agencies, the finalists represent the diverse organisations that contribute to the success of UK ELT and international student mobility.
The ST Star Awards also provide an opportunity for the wider international education community to celebrate the partnerships, innovation and professional excellence that underpin the sector.
The ST Star Awards gala dinner will take place as part of the ST Alphe UK conference in London, bringing together education providers, agents, service providers and other international education professionals from around the world.
English UK members, partners and industry colleagues attending ST Alphe UK will be able to connect with the English UK team throughout the event. The organisation will be promoting its members and the wider UK ELT sector to international education agents and will be based at table A2 on the lower floor on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September.
With such a strong showing among this year's finalists, the 2026 ST Star Awards will be an important celebration of the achievements and contribution of the UK's English language teaching community.
Congratulations to all the shortlisted organisations, members, partners and agencies. The industry will be watching the results closely when the winners are announced in London on 5 September.
