ICEF Graduates Canada

ICEF celebrates a significant milestone today, announcing that 1 000 agents have successfully graduated from the Canada Course for Education Agents (CCEA). Successful graduates are recognised by partners and peers as leaders in the industry.

The 1 000th Canada Course Graduate (CCG) is Imran Baig Mirza of ILM Advice, Sydney, Australia.

ICEF offers five agent training courses – two “professional courses”, the ICEF Agent Training Course (IATC) and the China Education Agent Course (CEAC), and three “destination courses”, the Canada Course for Education Agents (CCEA), the Irish Education Agents Course (IEAC), and the US Agent Training Course (USATC).

The CCEA, a destination course, supports the professional development of agents wishing to specialise in Canada as a major study destination. The course is jointly owned by ICEF, Languages Canada, and the Canadian Association of Public Schools International (CAPS-i), with the support of the Canadian Consortium for International Education (CCIE). The CCEA provides education agents with a general foundation in the education systems and processes for international students in Canada.

All courses are free of charge and delivered in a self-paced modular format. Regardless of the course, participants are eligible to take a non-compulsory paid test. Agents who successfully pass the exam earn the corresponding course designation and have their name, photo, and company details listed on ICEF’s website. All course graduates are also listed on the Qualified Education Agents (QEA) app produced by ICEF and PIER. The app contains the names of more than 11 270 qualified agents worldwide and is a valuable resource for educators seeking to partner with expert agencies.
