AAIEP - American Association of Intensive English Programs has nearly 300 AAIEP members offer intensive English language programs located in university and college settings or city centers across the USA. ABLS - The Association of British Language Schools was founded in 1993 by a group of English language providers interested in developing a quality marque which could offer choice and recognise diversity in English language provision. The Association has maintained the specific aim of promoting quality, professionalism and expertise in the field of English language tuition. All member schools must be accredited by a Home Office recognised accreditation body. ABLS is attractive to small, private, family run type schools. EAQUALS – The European Association for Quality Language Services is a pan-European association of language training providers. It is the only international association of language schools that has a formal inspection scheme to verify the quality offered by members. We aim to promote and guarantee quality in language teaching institutions. To achieve this aim, EAQUALS has created and published a demanding set of criteria for membership

  EduSA - South Africa
EduSA – Education South Africa is committed to developing and guiding the growth of the English language travel industry in South Africa and ensuring that its members meet or exceed guaranteed minimum standards of professionalism and quality. Over the past decade South Africa has increasingly entered into the EFL industry, and has become an extremely popular destination for English Language Travellers. As a result there has been a sharp increase in the number of English Language Centres offering English language tuition and accompanying services. In order to provide guidance and a common voice for these centres, the idea of a Language Centre association was proposed in July 2002. After a year of hard work and planning, ELTASA was originally constituted in June 2003 with 9 founding members and then became EduSA in 2009.

  English Australia - Australia
English Australia (EA) is the national peak body and professional association for the ELICOS sector of international education - providers offering English Language Intensive Courses to Overseas Students. The ELICOS sector has grown considerably over the last 20 years, to the stage where in 2007 over 240 accredited providers delivered English language courses to over 137,000 international students. English Australia has put together some FAQs regarding the ELICOS sector that provide more detailed information regarding the nature of the ELICOS sector in Australia.   English New Zealand - New Zealand
English New Zealand is a group of well-established, quality English language schools located across New Zealand. English New Zealand is a registered society that incorporates the long-standing organisation known as FIELSNZ (Federation of Independent English Language Schools of New Zealand), which was set up in 1986.

  Fedele - Spain
At present, there are 69 Schools of Spanish under FEDELE’s “umbrella of protection”, whose main activity is teaching Spanish to foreigners. The FEDELE schools endeavour to teach “Spanish” in the full extension of the term and so Spain’s history and its cultural diversity is also an important facet of our activity.   Feltom - Malta
FELTOM (Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta), is a self-regulating association of the major schools in Malta. It is officially recognised by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Tourism and holds consultative status with the Malta Tourism Authority. FELTOM stands for quality in schools by setting, improving and ensuring the maintenance of standards in all respects of English language stays in Malta, and member schools are governed by a Code of Academic Conduct which incorporates a mechanism for customer protection.

  Groupement FLE
Groupement FLE is a group of professionals who have come together with the aim of offering a guarantee of both service and quality to students, business clients and those passionate about learning the French language. This “Reference of Quality” rests upon fixed criteria, concrete commitments and official quality controls, clearly defined in a reference document which every school present on this site fully adheres to. The Groupement FLE also has the aim of promoting the centres which make up it’s membership, and offers a space where they can meet, share their experiences and pool a certain number of resources.

  IALC - International
The International Association of Language Centres was founded in 1983 to accredit and represent private, independent language schools teaching the official language(s) of their country. All IALC language schools must respect the IALC Code of Ethics. Together with the Quality Scheme, the Code of Ethics forms the basis for the quality assurance of IALC language schools. It is based on best practice in the quality management of international language schools, from the employment of qualified teachers and provision of a structured curriculum to accurate publicity and full student support outside classes.
