Video highlights Cambridge visit of award-winning teachers
Six English teachers from around the globe, who won the Cambridge English Competition 2011, are the subject of a new video.
The winners travelled from all over the world to attend a professional development course in Cambridge this summer which they were awarded for winning Cambridge ESOL and Bell's 2011 competition. Cambridge ESOL's Marketing Manager, Simon Wright said the winners had really inspiring stories about teaching English. He says: ''Teachers of this calibre all play an important part in helping to raise the standard of English around the world.'' Tony Anderson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bell added: ''It was a pleasure to welcome such talented and proactive teachers to Bell Teacher Campus. We aim to provide an educational, inspirational and intercultural experience, further enhancing their teaching skills and knowledge which they can integrate into their own classroom activities.'' The full list of Cambridge English Competition winners for 2011 were Sadjia Hamoudi from Algeria, Maria del Carmen Ramirez from Mexico, Lu (Eureka) Xia from China, Shunichi Sugiura from Japan, Claudia Rodríguez Bañales from Mexico and Cigdem Mazlumoglu from Turkey.
