Korea keyed up to receive internationally known Cervantes Institute

Miguel de Cervantes, author of the famous Don Quixote, is still spreading his native language to the world more than 400 years later.

As Spanish continues to grow in acceptance as a second language around the world, students in Korea are keen on studying the idiom which is spoken as the official language in 21 countries. Both the Cervantes Institute, based in Madrid, as well as the Spanish ambassador in Korea recognise the importance of the institute’s presence in Korea and are working together to lift the idea off the ground.
